E-commerce

SalesPoint E-commerce allows you to sell your products online. With the click of a button, you can be online and trading within a second! To create your E-Commerce site, go to the address you created when you signed up.

Step 1: Set Up

The first time you select E-Commerce in SalesPoint you will be presented with the following screen.

Address
The website address that customers will go to - to view your products and make purchases.

Add All My Products
This feature will include all of your current products or services on your E-Commerce website.

You can use a fully customized domain name, i.e. www.benspies.co.nz. Please contact us to arrange this.

Step 2: Product Availability

To access various sections of the E-Commerce platform, follow these steps to control the visibility of products on your site:

  1. Go to the Products tab and choose a specific product.
  2. Enable its availability by checking the E-commerce button and clicking Save.
  3. Alternatively, you can select multiple products in the Products tab, click on Edit, and make them available in bulk.
  4. Activate the Available in E-Commerce toggle.
  5. Click the Update button located next to the toggle line.
  6. After making the necessary changes, click Save to apply the updates and ensure the products are visible on your website.

To verify the availability of your online products, follow these steps:

  1. Access the dashboard and navigate to E-Commerce tab.
  2. Within this tab, click on Products . This will direct you to the filter options where you can view all the products that are currently available online.

Step 3: Payment

To process payments for online purchases made on an e-commerce platform, we need to setup our payment methods first.

  1. Access the Dashboard and navigate to the E-Commerce tab.
  2. Within this tab, locate and click on the Settings subcategory tab.
  3. In this tab, you should find the Payment Section.

Step 4: Shipping

To create a shipping method for your online products or goods, follow these steps:

  1. Still in the E-Commerce tab, and Settings subcategory tab, select shipping section instead.
  2. Add the types of shipping you would like for your e-commerce. Specify the name, the price for shipping and the scheduled time for shipment.
